Advice for Small Businesses

My primary service for small businesses is the Clarity & Direction Package.  Most small business owners and Sole Traders have a smaller budget and limited personal time to dedicate to working on their business, therefore this package is designed to be cost effective and quick to complete. 

This package provides you with clear feedback on your business, as well as specific, actionable recommendations to assist you in achieving targets and goals, which come in the form of a miniature business plan.

Whilst no business is the same, the types of areas covered in this package are typically:

• Pricing and cash flow forecasting
• Branding 
• Marketing 
• Customer acquisition and retention
• Time management 
• Supplier management

Package Includes:

• An Initial consultation: A 30-minute chat in person, by phone or online
• A One-to-One Consultation: A 2-hour personalised session to delve into your business and goals.
• Tailored 'Clarity & Direction' mini business plan: This will identify 2-3 key workstreams for the short and medium-term goals.
• Strategic Planning Session: A one-to-one 2-hour session to review and plan the creation and implementation of a chosen workstream.
• Follow-Up Support: A 1hr follow-up call or meeting to keep you on track.

Typical Process:

Whilst not a comprehensive list, the below is an outline of how we would work together:

1. The Initial consultation is designed to identify if this package is a good fit for your needs and if we have the right business 'chemistry'.
2. If we decide to work together, you complete your payment** and service agreement.
3. The consultation session follows this to understand your business, what you want to achieve, and what you need help with. I insist on active involvement from business owners, as their insights and effort provide significant cost savings within the process; this will be things like providing me with accounts, business plans etc. where relevant. 
4. I then produce a report with recommendations for you to work on.
5. We review these, pick a workstream, and have a strategic planning session on this, which is geared towards a tangible output. 
6. Once that's complete you carry on with the recommendations and I check up on you after 2-3 weeks to ensure you are on track.
